Can I use the Sound Capsule with any other editing software?
Yes. Recordings from the Sound Capsule are uploaded to Nomono Studio, where you can organize and enhance them. From there, you can export standard audio files (like MP3 or WAV) that work seamlessly in any editing software – whether it’s Pro Tools, Audition, or something else.
Do I need the Nomono Studio app to use the Sound Capsule?
The Sound Capsule is a standalone recorder, but the Nomono Studio app is required for the initial setup and Wi-Fi configuration. Once set up, you can record completely offline. The app remains useful for remote control, monitoring, and adjusting settings, and when the Sound Capsule connects to WLAN it automatically uploads your recordings to Nomono Studio Cloud for backup, editing, and AI enhancement.

How do I get the Sound Capsule?
The Sound Capsule is included with the purchase of Nomono Studio Premium bundle. Both recording kit and Studio Cloud is included. Your bundle includes the recording kit along with advanced cloud features such as browser editor, spatial audio, AI enhancements and noise removal, cloud storage, audio/video sync, transcriptions and collaboration tools.
Do I need to be online to record with the Sound Capsule?
No. The Sound Capsule is designed to record in any environment, even without Wi-Fi connection or mobile coverage. Your sessions are stored locally and automatically uploaded to Nomono Studio the next time you’re connected.
Can I use the Sound Capsule for video production?
Yes. The Sound Capsule is ideal for video production – YouTube shows and podcasts, social media content or any other form of video content. Use it on set or in the field, then sync the audio with the audio/video sync tool in Studio Cloud: you’ll get your video with Nomono sound in just a few clicks. Alternatively, since recordings are exported as standard audio files, they can also integrate seamlessly into any video editing workflow.
